For the benefit of all, I would like to announce that I have been a Rotarian since August 19, 2009. I am a member of Rotary Club of Makati Northeast, District 3830. I am proud to be one. For the record, I have been so active. And it is fun and exciting!
Last Friday, 11 June 2010, the Rotary Clubs of Saint Nicolas and Makati Cristo Rey sponsored the Body Heat Model Search, themed Psal Masque. It was held in Megaworld Information Center, McKinley Hills, The Fort, Taguig City. It is for the benefit of the Parañaque River Rehabilitation Project and Upliftment Programs for Underprivileged Communities. Well, this is just one of the fund resources that we initiate. We usually dish out funds from our own pockets.
I was one of the honored guests. Along with me were fellow Rotarians and some celebrities who were picked as judges. Namely, Bangs Garcia – star of ABS-CBN Soap Magkano ang Iyong Dangal, Maryo De Los Reyes – film Director, Mama Rene Salud – Fashion Designer, Joel Mendez – Cosmetic Surgeon. I also would like to mention a good friend, Jaime V. Acosta, Founder and CEO of PSALMSTRE Enterprises, Inc, which offers Placenta products. He also featured my Philippine Fashion Week 2010 shots in Showbiz Sosyal magazine.

Long had I not updated my site. Big apologies for the inconvenience. You may wonder why. Well, please allow me to explain.
Here we go… I was supposed to launch a new website – Paul F. Photography. Unfortunately, I did not like the web lay out I have contracted with my web designer. So I decided to put it on hold. Maybe I would release a simpler one. Hopefully, very soon.
Many good things have happened to me in the past months. It seems everyday is a blessing to me. Just this July, I already opened my new business. My site shows what it is. Pretty obvious, it is photography business. I have already accepted wedding and debut photography. Here is the package:
-Unlimited soft copy of photos
-AVP (audio visual presentation)

All church servants of the Archdiocese of Manila gathered at SMX Convention Hall, Mall of Asia (MOA) on June 27, 2009. The event was spearheaded by the Arzobispado servants community, under the coordination of Rev. Fr. Genaro “Genie” Diwa. There were 5500 attendees.
Fr. Genie also delivered a discourse on the importance of Sunday in the church. He traced its historical accounts from the old Jewish culture, to Jesus’ era, and to the present times. He critiqued how the laity’s activities during Sundays changed from generation to generation.
Another speaker was Rev. Fr. Godwin Tatlonghari. He discussed the responsibilities of each community in the church. To cite some, altar servers, lectors and commentators, extraordinary ministers (lay ministers), etc.
During the forum, Former Chief Justice Artemio “Art” Panganiban was one of the panelists. He said, “love and justice go hand in hand.” One cannot exist without the other. He testified that before he gives a final court decision, he prays first. He is by the way an extraordinary minister in his parish. The forum was hosted by Sis. Bubbles of DZMM and Rev. Fr. Jason Laguerta, a co-PAGOROPOD (organization of seminarians, Diocese of Sorsogon) member in the seminary then.
The congress was highlighted by the appearance of His Eminence Gaudencio Cardinal B. Rosales. His message, “Without Sunday, we cannot live.” He stressed the meaning of the Pascal Mystery in relation to our day to day lives. He also thanked all servants for offering their time and service to the church.
God bless all who serve in any other means.

The last day of the thrill. By this time, I had a privilege to spend lunch with the bishop of the diocese, Bp. Arturo M. Bastes, S.V.D., Coadjutor Bishop of Sorsogon, along with some other priests. I also visited major seminary, home of the clergy, and minor seminary. The minor and major seminaries are my mother schools.
