God really works for us and with us…. i was on my way to the office and i happened to pass by a taho vendor also going to our building to sell his goods…know what? this guy became a puzzle to me and a source of wonder….mixed with a sense of deeper joy in my part….imagine he was loaded with a heavy container of taho yet a smile still printed his face?!…. how wonderful really God is!…i smiled back at him… God uses simple things, simple persons for us to realize our lowliness before Him!….we are too little before His eyes.. hehehe… i looked back at myself and asked, why do sometimes i still feel dissatisfied with the graces i have received from Him…. what am I really looking for?…. knowing that this “mamang magtataho” can have a full grin despite the sacrifices he does daily just to earn his living…and here i was, just sitting on this soft velvet-carpeted comfortable chair the whole day yet still do not feel satisfaction….whew!…whoa! whoa! whoa!…God is just…..sometimes He does not offer everything to a person yet He offers him a real smile…God bless all magtataho…they never complain what is given to them…they just do work, all for His greater glory…

Please allow me to post here the e-mail messages I received. I forgot to mention that I also submitted this on Sykes site and was posted on March 2006.
Thanks for your thoughts guys, and those who appreciate these reflections. God bless you always. Please include me and my family in your prayers, as I do for you.

It reminds us that the simple and the lowly inherits the kingdom
of God.
Nice reflection. Actually, there are times really when I too feel
guilty of being unsatisfied with the things I have that oftentimes
that I neglect to see the simple things God had offered me.
Live simple.
Thanks,
Jomar
